Reflection

I think the biggest thing i will take from this class is seeing more in the picture than just the photo.I learned how to take good pictures of nature see the patterns the iteration, seeing everything that has patterns and how it occurs.I struggled most with the iteration and how to change the pattern and everything doing it piece by piece but then i got the hang of it and was iterating alot of different patterns.My favorite trip was when we went to the beach in San Fransisco i havnt been to that beach, walking it was good trip i saw a lot of shells and sand dollars their was alot of waves it was alot of fun. I also enjoyed the activity of the milk and soap and food coloring and seeing al the patterns their was of the food coloring.I really enjoyed this class seeing patterns in nature.

Day10:Mt. View Cemetary

I picked this picture because of the saint that is in the middle and it really stands out to me and next to it are the ashes it looks really nice.
I picked this picture because of all the different cases they keep the ashes inside,different shapes and some are of families others couples their are many different one.

I picked this picture because of where the water fountain is at in front of some ashes,like a little passage it looks nice.

I picked this picture because of the shape of the way the ashes are in like their own little place not with the rest.

Day9:G.G Park

i picked this picture because it show the turtles on the tree trunk they look life if they are not alive.And i like how its in the swamp.

This picture is of 2 ducks in the lake at the park and the rock its a very clear picture of the water.
This is a picture of a "Jabber Wocky" i saw at the park they are very rare,and it was on the grass next on the lake.

Day8:Diamond Canyon,Automata Optical illusions

I picked this picture because it shows the water going down right side and the green water over it .And i really like the view it looks really nice.The patterns it shows are like the water the way it goes.

I picked this picture because i look how the sunlight reflects the tall trees with the other green trees.The patterns it shows is the tree trunks all lined up.


I picked this picture because it shows the waterfall,how the water is going up and the water is inside And i like how it stands out from the background.

This is an illusion and a brainteaser Try to say the color of the word,without saying the actual word itself.This confuses your brain because you actually want to say the word than the color.

Day7:Patterns in Milk,Cellular Automata

I picked this picture because it shows the swirls going in a circle the food coloring coming together and food coloring also the one on the sides.I had fun doing this and seeing the patterns and when they exploded into many different patterns and colors
This picture is the Sierpinski Triangle we did in class on the computer to see all the triangles and we iterate the triangle and got alot of different triangle.This picture is the same triangle but we started to have fun with it and add different patterns and it was going really fast to change and more patterns.

Day6:SF Ferry+Fountains

I took this picture because i liked how you can see the green hill with half of the bridge.And the pattern i see is in the water how the little waves are their calm and going in calm paste.I picked this picture of this fountain because how it has different patters of water going down and then you can go inside their was alot of patterns and water coming down from each.

I picked this picture because its a view from the inside of the fountain and the water how you can see it falling from the top in the shapes.And the steps from the inside.
I picked this picture of this fountain because the water is coming from the top of the ceiling all the way to the botom.And when its at the bottom it doesnt fall out to the floor it goes to trough some wholes in the botom.

Day5:Leona George+Mandlebrot Set

I picked this picture because its a view of East Oakland from the top its a beautiful view.You can see everything all the houses and all the places and the trees all green its beautiful where i live.
I picked this picture because of the water fall with the rocks because the water goes through all the rocks and the patterns it shows are little rock to big rock.
I picked this picture because its a white flower and the petals are all in the same patterns;self-similarity it comes out all the same it comes out from the background. This is the Mandlebrot we did during class were we played around with the different types of the shapes and each came out with their different shapes and colors.

Day4:Fort Funston at the Beach

I picked this picture because its a sand dollar and the pattern it shows the lines from the middle to the outside.and the little circles it has on the back.

I picked this picture because of the ocean and the waves it shows and the rocks and the big rock next to it it shows a pattern of the waves comes into the sand in the rocks.
I picked this picture of the shells all stuck together and their are sum white and tan and the black ones their stand out and the patterns they have each on top of the shell.I picked this picture because of the pattern it has on the front of this sand dollar and it has the same lines from the back.The leaf patterns are the same.

Day:3 Sierpinski Triangle+Oakland Museum

This is the sierpinski triangle we did during class, self-similarity because we did the same pattern inside the same shape.I picked this picture because of the colorful fish that are in the same pond.And also there is sunlight in one side of the pond and the fish are orange and the other is yellow.

I picked this picture because of all the green plants and the leafs all have the same patterns and reall stand out.And the one on the wall that stands out.
I picked this picture because of the white flowers and the branches that are all together the white flower comes out the green leafs that are in the same shape

Day:2 Koch curve +outside Life

This is the koch curve we did in class were we added stars to each star and are patterns.

Day1:Lake Merrit Botanical

i picked this picture because of the sunlight reflecting on the plant and the background is dark but the plant comes out.The pattern that it shows is self-similarity because the leafs are the same shape.



i picked this picture because its a pink rose with green leafs with white dots and comes out from the background.



i picked this picture because of the green leafs that are the same pattern and the way the shape is going.

i picked this picture because of the white on the rock and the little white flower petals beacause it has the same shape.
